| The Stockton Diocesan
Catholic Committee on Scouting (SDCCS) is a committee affiliated with the Diocese
of Stockton, California. Youth Ministry serving the The Greater Yosemite Council
of the Boy Scouts of America, Heart of Central California Council of Girl Scouts USA, and American Heritage Girls.
The Committee is dedicated to promoting “Duty to God” at each level
of Scouting. We are affiliated with the National Catholic Committee
on Scouting® (NCCS), an advisory to
the Boy Scouts of America, National Catholic Committee on Girl Scouts
and Camp Fire, and Region (11) of the NCCS (and NFCYM).

Each year the (SDCCS) holds several events to promote Catholic Scouting. These events include Religious Emblems Workshops, Scouter Development, Religious Emblems Counselor Training, a Youth Religious Emblem Recognition Ceremony, Adult Recognition Dinner and Catholic Scouts Retreat. We are able to accomplish these events, because of the many dedicated leaders that donate their time and energy to providing a quality program.
